Marcus Höfl has been engaged in the sports business for more than 20 years and is superbly connected in international networks. He markets personalities and events internationally, globally manages the dynamic activation of sponsoring partnerships and sports investments. The primary focal points of his activities are Olympic summer and winter sports, football and motor sports.
MHM Majors is internationally active in the management of personalities, events and sponsorships in football, winter sports and motor sports.
Currently, beyond Franz Beckenbauer, other top-clubs sports personalities such as Maria Höfl-Riesch, Simon Schempp, Sébastien Ogier, among others, are also under contract with MHM Majors.
Apart from that, MHM Majors develops, designs and markets a variety of event formats in the context of international sports business. Included in this are "Mountain Peak - The Winter Sports Summit" held in the realm of the Hahnenkamm ski race in Kitzbühel, a German-Arab sports forum called "Arab-German Sports Summit", a meeting of the Top 100 personalities of sports known as "BILD100 SPORT", a ski-charity race "Ski Triathlon" and the sports-political discussion and network event "Sport Talks at Brandenburg Gate".
As global motor sports agency of Lenovo, worldwide leader in computer manufacture, MHM Majors also manages the international activation of sports sponsor partnerships in Formula 1 and MotoGP. And specifically in this area, the global implementation of sponsoring and hospitality activities in the context of partnerships with the Formula 1 team Scuderia Ferrari and the Ducati MotoGP team.
Furthermore, MHM owns a bevy of sports investments, and supervises acquired stakes, including of FC Augsburg, a club in the football Bundesliga.
MHM was founded by Marcus Höfl in 1997, and has its company headquarters in Kitzbühel, Austria since then. For more than twenty years, Marcus Höfl and his team have managed and borne the responsibility, i.e. the contractual commercial relations, of Franz Beckenbauer. MHM Majors is owner of all business personality rights of the football idol. Besides this, other sports personalities such as Boris Becker, Franziska van Almsick and Stefan Reuter have been under contract to MHM during the following years.
At the FIFA Football World Cup in 2006 in Germany, MHM was deeply involved in both the planning and the realization of the tournament.
Between 2006 and 2009, MHM was responsible for the global football engagement of Red Bull. Marcus Höfl was active as member of the Board of Governors of North American Majors League Soccer. In addition, Marcus Höfl was on the Supervisory Board of the DFL Sports Enterprises.
